Vision Advantage Program
The
Vision Advantage Program (VAP), offered
exclusively through Rx Optical, is a Preferred Provider Program.
VAP
is a cost free vision benefit that provides savings
of up to $100 or more when you
purchase frames, lenses, contact lenses and an examination.
This program can be used with most vision insurance plans.
Your
Benefits Through Rx Optical Include:
Savings
VAP offers savings of up to $100 or more on each glasses purchase. Basic pair of Single Vision glasses are available for $98. It also offers great savings on eye examinations, the most advanced technologies in eyewear, including frames, lenses and contact lenses, and other prescription eyeglass options.
Vision
Insurance Benefits
VAP can be used with most
vision insurance plans or as an alternative vision benefit.
Rx Optical bills most vision insurance plans, meaning less paperwork and
out-of-pocket cost for you.
Flexible
Spending Accounts (Sect. 125)
Eyewear is often a planned and
necessary purchase. The Section 125
tax option allows a person to set aside pre-tax dollars to be used during the
year on: frames, lenses, contact lenses, eye exams, and other eyewear expenses.
Combining Flex dollars with VAP allows members to extend their benefits
further.
Eye
Examinations
The Optometrist will test for
glaucoma, cataracts, diseases and other abnormalities that may require
correction or vision therapy.
Laser
Vision Correction
Rx Optical offers Laser Vision Correction in conjunction with the Ophthalmologists of TLC Eyecare & Laser Centers. TLC surgeons have the vast clinical experience and excellent reputation to achieve the best outcomes for out patients. LASIK is an outpatient procedure that usually takes about 10 minutes to perform on each eye. But in that short time, your surgeon must make hundreds of decisions, all while working in a space 1/100 the width of a human hair. That's why your surgeon's experience and skill become such a crucial consideration. The experience and success of TLC Eyecare and Laser Centers' surgeons are remarkable.
In order to decide whether Laser Vision Correction is a viable option for you, it is important to first understand visual problems and how the procedure treats them. Our goal at Rx Optical is to provide you with comprehensive information and education that will allow you to make a well-informed decision about your eyesight.
Insurance discounts may now apply for this procedure. VAP members can receive a savings of $100 or more per eye when they use their VAP membership card.
