Lens Options
Backside
Non-Glare
With
sunglass lenses, Non-Glare is better applied only to the back surface of the
lenses. This helps to reduce the
reflections of light that enter from behind and bounce off the surface into your
eyes. Backside Non-Glare coated
lenses add comfort to the wearer as well.
Polarized
Sun Lenses
Polarized
lenses give you better visual acuity in bright light conditions and eliminate
glare reflected off water and flat surfaces such as car hoods.
Those who benefit most from these lenses are boaters, fishermen, skiers,
golfers, bikers and joggers. For
added safety, polarized polycarbonate lenses are also available.

Melanin Lenses
Polarized Melanin Lenses offer protection against UV rays, glare,
and blue light. Blue light is
actually high-energy visible light (HEV) that research has found may contribute
to development of age-related macular degeneration.
Most sunglasses offer little or no protection against blue light.
Vision-Ease Lens. Inc. has developed a lens that absorbs the blue light.
SunRx polarized melanin lenses come in brown and are available in single
vision and progressive lenses. They are also made of polycarbonate, the most
impact-resistant lens material available.
Mirror
Lenses
Mirror
lenses, also called Flash lenses, are bold statements of color and are highly
reflective. They are purely cosmetic
in that the wearer perceives no difference in vision regardless of the color of
lenses. Only those looking at the
person wearing the glasses can see the color of the Mirror lenses.
Mirror
lenses come in a variety of colors listed below:
GOLD
SILVER FLASH
BLUE
YELLOW SUNRISE
SILVER
BLACK MIDNIGHT
