Multi-Focal Styles
Progressive
Addition Lenses (PALs)
PALs, often called no-line bifocals, have become the standard in multi-focal lens styles.
They provide wider clearer vision at all distances—far, near, and
intermediate (arm’s length). The
“no line” style makes these lenses a popular choice among many multi-focal
lens wearers. Progressive lenses are
designed to be closest to natural vision and are available in a variety of lens
materials. There are also many types
of Progressive lens technologies to choose from.
Flat
Top Bifocals –
The Standard For Far and Near
This
standard, lined multi-focal design allows the wearer to see both distant and
near objects clearly. Flat Top bifocals are available in a variety of widths and
lens materials.
Trifocals
– Far, Near and Intermediate
Like
the lined bifocal, the Flat Top trifocal lens is available in a variety of
widths and lens materials. Separate areas of the trifocal allow the wearer to
see objects at far, near and intermediate distances
